You can reach us by cross-country skiing from Äkäslompolo, Tunturijärvi or Hannukainen. For example from Hotel Ylläskaltio the distance is 4km, from Äkäshotelli 6km, from the chapel (via Kuertunturi) 5km, from Tunturijärven kota 6km, from Luosun Rantakahvila 11km and from Ylläsjärvi village 15km.
You can reach us by walking, cycling, snowshoeing or kicksledding. There is a marked winter path from Sivulantie (close to Sisu Outdoor), the distance is 4,3km.
You can also visit us by car, their are parking spaces located by Ylläksentie, approximately 3km from Äkäslompolo to the direction of Kolari. The address is Ylläksentie 241 Kolari if you use a navigator. There is a 400metres long winter path from the parking space to the Kota. Please use the marked ice bridge when crossing the river.
If you are cross-country skiing with dogs: There is a 18 km long cross-country skiing track for skiiers with dogs starting from Velhon Kota. Leave your car at our parking space or take the winter path from Äkäslompolo. The 18km loop track goes to Hannukainen and back.
